I’ve been looking at numbers and thinking about how to make the journalism I’m doing sustainable.
I’m writing to ask you to consider signing up to make monthly donations to support my work, if you’re not already doing it.

I hope to get more of you on that list. I have a long-term goal of doubling my recurring donors to 150. For now, I’m setting an immediate goal of getting that number to 100.

That deep reporting isn’t cheap. In addition to my time, it sometimes involves wear and tear on my vehicle and other equipment. Sometimes it requires public records requests.
